My name is Steph, I’m an Aussie traveller currently working remotely with the RY program. I work for a digital recruitment agency based in Brisbane sourcing talent for software companies and startups in Australia. Travel is something I enjoy most in life so I joined Remote Year to try out the digital nomad life, and find out whether it would fit in with my career and work life. Fast forward 6 months, I am half way into the program and loving it! Don’t get me wrong, it was a challenge to pack up my whole life and transition to a more minimalist lifestyle, and I’m still perfecting it! My favourite part of this flexible lifestyle is how easy it is to plan an adventure and just go, take off without worrying about what you need and don’t need – I’ve got everything I need with me 🙂
